Simply smahing Pinot. It is elegant and refined yet choc-full of flavour with incredible length. It tastes of Pinot that should be at least double the price, awesome value.
The Yarra Valley range is made from handpicked fruit from our estate vineyards. The wines are produced using indigenous yeasts, gravity-flow winemaking, and minimal fining and filtration. This approach produces highly expressive wines, true to the regional characteristics of the Yarra Valley. Natural winemaking philosophy, while making quality the priority. Minimal intervention in the vineyard and 100% hand-picked. Fermented in open oak vats and stainless steel fermenters using indigenous yeasts. 20% whole bunch. Delestage by gravity, some light hand plunges and pigeage.

Wild yeast open-fermented with 20% whole bunches, matured for 7 months in French oak (10% new), gravity bottled. Very good colour; the intensity of the aromas and flavours unfolding with the first sip stop you in your tracks. Medium to full red/purple hue with a charming strawberry, raspberry aroma, fruit-driven and straightforward but very aromatic. Nice wine: deliciously pinoty and fruity, oak taking a back-seat, and tannins well moderated. Sweet red fruits fill the palate. A young but very stylish pinot. Extreme value. Dark cherry, sweet musk, pretty perfume with ripe scents and dense wall of pinot 101. Plush, soft, juicy, but cinches up nicely through the finish. Has a fluffy softness and early drinking feel, a touch spread out, for want of a better expression, though there’s bright fruit and glossy texture to the fore. Lovely drinking here, easy as, slurpy good stuff.
