Fighting Gully Road Aquila is a unique blend of 54% Chardonnay and 26% Petit Manseng grapes with 17% Viognier and 3% Chenin Blanc grapes. This results in the creation of a pale straw coloured wine with light golden hues. Complex aromas of ginger, melon and tropical fruits flow from its scintillating nose, while the textured and layered palate is filled with flavours of green melon and grapefruits supported by spicy Viognier characters. These flavours are further balanced by a fresh acidity from the Petit Manseng grapes, culminating in a clean and refreshing finish. This wonderful white wine can be cellared for a few years from vintage to develop intense flavours. It tastes excellent with roasted or grilled chicken, seafood, and Asian cuisine.
