Beautifully aromatic, this pinot noir sings of raspberries and roses complemented by earthy undertones. It’s rich and vibrant plum, raspberry and cherry flavours are balanced by great acidity and silky tannins. A fantastic match for five spice pan-fried duck breast with Asian greens, lamb cutlets or suckling pig.
- Hand picked, destemmed, small batch open fermenters. Mixture of wild and
inoculated parcels. Some batches cold soaked, and some post ferment
maceration - depending on fruit weight and structure. Pressed, settled for
24hrs then racked to French oak barrels for secondary ferment and maturation
(11 months). Clones MV6, G5, 114/115, 777.

A very good pinot that has taken what the vintage offered with both hands. Bright hue; the palate has whole bunch subtitles woven through from start to finish, giving the wine a fluid line, not the stop-start nature of some whole bunch treatment.
