Brooding, driven and well supported with a touch of oak for the traditionalist. Aromas of lifted spice, cloves, brooding dark fruits and savoury earthiness, with subtle undertones of oak influence in the form of vanilla and coconut. On the palate, this medium plush bodied Shiraz has a delicate acid drive and softened round tannins that are well supported by flavours of mulberry, cloves, plums and a distinctive earthy warmth long finish.

This wine is drinking well now, but will age exceptionally well over the next 5 years.

Most char-grilled foods find a soul mate in Shiraz. This more robust style of Shiraz would suit the rich flavours of venison, kangaroo and duck.
