Bright ruby in colour with purple tinge to the hue. The nose is lifted with Indian spices, white pepper over rhubarb, raspberry, and cherry fruit with a hint of chocolate. The whole bunch contact has given a finely balanced tannin structure from the stalks that works in harmony with the gentle skin tannins. Red fruit flavours linger, and the savoury spices bring complexity and seriousness to an otherwise very easy going wine.

This wine pairs well with beef, lamb, game and cured meats.
