As with all Gant & Co wines the nose is super-expressive there is the initial minty lift, blackcurrant pastilles and gentle cedar. The palate leads with a generous ripe cassis, plum and blueberry fruit compote which is brought into check with a spritzy freshness, leafy notes and a herbaceous quality a hint of bay leaf and olive.This wine goes well with beef, pasta, lamb, game and poultry dishes.
