Our third generation Pooch finds another noble beast waddling into Barossa Valley cellar. It takes a lot to excite this medium-sized, thick-set, low-slung pooch, however it’s the Black Forest fruit cake, rich mulberry and blackberry flavours that stir this lazy boy from his beauty sleep. His short muzzled nose stillpicks up all the familiar aromas with its subtle cloves and spices along with a deep density of wrinkles creating a calm dignity to this year’s wine, a blue ribbon in any show.
