Super saturated inky black colour with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Soaring out of the glass with a youthful exuberance are freshly crushed blackberry, dark plum, cassis and liquorice scents which are trailed by some vanillin cedar, earth and spice notes. Rich, dense and structured the palate is a concentrate of blackberry, dark plum, liquorice, cassis and blueberry fruits. Superb power with a firm yet integrated graphite like tannin structure. Vanillin cedar, earth, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy pepper elements lie underneath. Finishes long and inky with a youthful freshness. Cellar 8-10 years.Enjoy with beef, lamb and poultry dishes.
