Deep brick red with a bright ruby hue. Aromas of blue fruits raspberry, plum and cherry work with notes of spices and vanillin from the American oak. The wine is rich, mouth coating and round; flavours are plum, raspberry, and cherry ripe. Textural tannins provide balance and firmness on the finish, but the wine is incredibly soft considering the intensity of flavour.This wine pairs well with beef and venison.
