Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet, cherry and winter strawberry scents blossom from the glass with subtle forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar notes also evident. Light and supple across the palate, generous spicy dark cherry and strawberry fruits are underpinned by earthy forest floor like characters, light cedar and dried herbs. Finishes with good freshness, polished tannins and a savoury aftertaste.
This wine pairs well with duck, middle eastern dishes and chocolate.
