Varietal character has been de-emphasised, but not at the expense of flavour.

This is quite lovely. Slate, apple and passionfruit with a spicy, smoky, floral edge.

It has good bite, ample-but-not-overdone texture, a steely/slatey feel and sound length.

It’s good buying, and drinking.
