Rias Baixas in Galicia, northern Spain, has been called in some quarters a wine 'garden of Eden'. Think steep, lush green slopes down to bright blue rivers with vineyards adding even more colour to the landscape. Albarino is the grape hero of this beautiful region, with the fresh and saline white wnes from these hillsides notably lively and vibrant. Here, we see that classic Rias Baixas form, with crunch but also texture. Width of flavour, but energy too.
