Smashing value for money is the 2017 Samorens. If you like Aussie GSM's it's worth checking out how the French do it. Bright, juicy and fresh with vibrant acidity and structural tannins. There's a lot going on here for a $25 wine. Lovely stuff!

  • The grapes are destemmed and the vinification takes place in vats. The extraction is made by punching down to ensure a good extraction of the tannins. The maceration lasts around 15 days. Temperature-controlled vinification.

SOIL The vineyards are situated on the left bank of the Rhône. Alluvial soil and gravely soil.

    Region: Cotes du Rhone, France
